Should I Subpoena the Officer or Trooper for my DOL Hearing?

It depends. If there are no slam dunk winning legal issues, I usually subpoena the officer or trooper. If they don't show - you win. If they do, you get a free deposition under oath. I use this opportunity to interview them and find out as much as possible about the case.

Is the Ignition Interlock Device required with a Deferred Prosecution?

Yes. If it's an alcohol dependency deferred prosecution for a DUI, the Washington State Department of Licensing will require an ignition interlock device. The length of time required will be 1, 5 or 10 years depending on your prior ignition interlock device history. 

What's the license suspension for Driving without a License in the Third Degree?

There is none. In Washington State, a conviction for Driving without a License in the Third Degree has no license suspension. Nor does it count toward the Habitual Traffic Offender. (other than as an infraction)

What is the license suspension for a Reckless Endangerment conviction in Washington State?

There is none. As a result, Reckless Endangerment is a good resolution in DUI cases most of the time. (especially if you win the DOL Hearing) However, it may cause problems for immigration or various professions (i.e. teachers), so it is not always preferable. You should always consult with an experienced Washington State or Seattle DUI Attorney about your case.  

What's the PBT?

PBT is an acronym for Portable Breath Test. (a portable breath test machine) In Washington State, officers often use the PBT to establish Probable Cause to Arrest (PC) for DUI or Physical Control. It is typically administered at the scene after the Roadside Field Sobriety Tests (FSTS) and is strictly voluntary. (although most people do not know this) It is typically only used in Court or your DOL Hearing to establish PC to Arrest and is never admitted as evidence - if your case goes to Jury Trial. (it's use can still be challenged even for PC to Arrest) 

Should I refuse the Roadside Field Sobriety Tests?

Yes. The Roadside Field Sobriety Tests (FST's) will almost always be used against you. In essence, you are "building a case" against yourself for DUI or Physical Control. These tests are strictly voluntary and you are not required by law to take them. (the three tests most often given are the HGN, Walk and Turn and One Leg Stand) You should politely refuse to take them, if asked.
