What is the probation period on a DUI conviction in Washington?

The maximum probation period on a DUI or Physical Control conviction is five (5) years. This is as much time as some felonies! No minimum period is stipulated. Alot of Judges will impose the maximum five (5) year probation period on every DUI regardless. However, some Judges will impose 1 - 2 years on a first offense DUI. This depends solely on the Court and is not the norm. The probation period includes both active (report to probation officer) and non-active (no probation officer) probation.
