The law changed in the last several years allowing this conversion at 15 to 1. You would receive 1/3 off "good time" on the converted jail time. So substantial EHM time can be reduced significantly. EHM can be very costly in some jurisdictions and burdensome. Most clients prefer just the few extra days in jail.
